Holistic Education

Our school’s daily curriculum encompasses academics, spirituality, and traditional Indian culture. At the Sri Sai Deepthi school, we strive to continuously nurture the dormant seeds of intelligence and morality in the minds and hearts of our children. Assisting them reach their full potential begins with the foundation of right conduct, non-violence, peace, and love. Academic basics and cultivated self-discipline prepares our students with the tools to find and create opportunity in the real world after their journey with us. In the mornings, we emphasize the importance of prayer, divine chants called “slokhas”, devotional songs, and meditation. Guiding our children to strengthen their connection with their own inherent divinity and perfection is the cornerstone of our methodology success.

The majority of the school day is centered around academics followed by a year-end exam. Basic education is imperative, so we’ve concentrated our subjects down to the few that matter the most: reading, writing, and mathematics. We teach English, Hindi, and Telugu, the native language of Andhra Pradesh. Our mathematics program is keen on student proficiency in basic arithmetic. The additional subjects we teach include natural science, biology, physics, and chemistry. Our social studies subjects include economics, history, political science, geography, and general knowledge. Our teaching methods are tailored differently depending on the class age. The nursery children learn most effectively through the play way, activity, and cooperation method. And then lecture and demonstration is taught to the preteens and teens. Classes are in session every Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM. During the cultural holidays class is dismissed, but we still welcome students to receive the mid-day meal. These holidays include Christmas, New Year’s, Indian Independence Day, Ganesh Chethurthi, Saraswathi Pooja, and Sai Baba’s birthday. As a part of our extracurricular offering, our cultural programs allow for the children to express respect and honor for their Indian heritage.
