Our Mission

The Sri Sai Deepthi Educational Society was established on June 11th 2003 with the blessings of the spiritual guru Sathya Sai Baba. We opened our doors with the only intention to serve God through the poor and needy children of Puttaparthi and its rural outskirts. We provide all of our students with a basic education, nutritious mid-day meals, uniforms, books and learning materials, and sometimes living accommodations. Our enrollment is especially focused towards the financially distressed, abandoned, semi-orphaned, and orphaned children when we have the resources to do so. Every child that becomes a pupil of our institution is renewed with a sense of safety, security, well being, and a knowing that they are deserving of and adept for an education.

As of July 2023, we maintain children from the ages of 4 to 13 years (grades nursery to 7th standard). Although we are often pushing near the max capacity of our building, classrooms, and infrastructure, our staff still always carries out the effort to provide a personalized learning experience to every grade and student. Throughout the entire student body, we’ve cultivated a culture centered around love, peace, trust, and right conduct. Our management team at Sri Sai Deepthi school has demonstrated operational success for 20 years and counting. Additionally, we employ a proficiently credentialed teacher staff to maintain the integrity of our academic benchmarks. Throughout these two decades, we’ve learned operational leanness, and more importantly that providing a wholesome education begins with the communal happiness of our student body and its organization. All of this has only been possible through God, the provider of all.

Everyone that has been a part of our mission knows the importance of the duty we've been entrusted with. Regardless of sometimes having a limited financial budget, we're grateful for all the abundance we have been able to give to our community. Though sometimes having been affected by natural disasters and devastating floods, we've learned resilience and strength. And although many of the staff often work various roles to continue the school's operations, we know we're always blessed because of the opportunity to carry out this work.

Education is a bridge to bring the children from darkness to Light.”
